Mentoring from industry experts

Five finalists receive funding and further mentoring to prepare for the final in October

the winning team receives £1,000 in prize money and further mentoring to develop a viable business.

So, are you ready?

You do not need to be an expert in social care, or have any experience of social care yourself, to apply.  You do not need to have any technical skills.  You just need to have an intention to improve the quality of life of those receiving care in the UK.

I wouldn’t call myself a technical person. I’m more of an ideas person, a global health person who’s passionate about public health and trying to innovate in the care sector. I had no idea where to start. No idea who to talk to. I was always interested in care-related things. When I heard about the Challenge, I thought it sounded perfect so I joined up.”
