Team Tresacare win the 2023 Challenge

The Care Show took place on 11-12th October at the NEC in Birmingham and on the second day of the show, the winner of the 2023 Care Innovation Challenge was crowned! CMM caught up with Elizabeth Beh, Founder of Tresacare and Sean Davey, Marketing Advisor and Non-Exec Director at Tresacare, to hear their reactions on winning the competition and to find out what’s next for the start-up.

Team Kit to Live

Team Kit to Live presented the idea of an assessment tool, via an app, to enable video assessments by an Occupational Therapist (OT) to recommend physical aids for rehabilitation and to reduce OT assessment waiting times.

Elizabeth presented the idea of a wellbeing app which allows people to earn rewards for taking part in wellbeing gyms.

Rahim’s idea was an intergenerational link between older people and students, specifically a volunteer app for students.

Team Careberry’s well developed idea was focused on Smart Care Cost, an add-on to care planning so care providers can estimate costs to deliver a service for an individual.

Haoyu presented the idea of an alert app for people with chronic health conditions to help them manage their medication.
