The 2025 Care Innovation Challenge programme kicked-off with the Challenge Weekend at Coventry University’s Techno Centre on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June. 

Our budding entrepreneurs took part in two days of discovery, business planning and problem-solving with our fantastic team of mentors. And then at the end of day two, each team delivered their five minute pitch. Our judges then deliberated before choosing the five semi-finalists who will go compete for public votes at the Birmingham Care Show in October.

Each team receive funding for further development of their idea together with additional mentoring and resources as they prepare for the Care Show when they get the chance to present their solution to show delegates and gain their support.
